Z-Burroughs

Not a photo in Dealey Plaza.

From The Pictures of the Pain, page 411:: “Rolls of film that I made at Parkland mysteriously disappeared and the AP office could never figure out. There was so much film and printing and so on going on there- but all those pictures which were of course secondary at the time,- the editor had seen them- but he had spot pictures of the shooting, and didn’t do anything about them. And they disappeared”

The person that you have identified as “Arthur M. Uhlmann” in the Jack Beers photo is not Art, but rather, Ted Rozumalski, also of the Houston Chronicle. Ted was 32 years old at the time of the photograph, Art was 42.

Here is another photo of Ted from 21 November in San Antonio (RHS, head turned):

Note the position of his hands on the camera, which is the same as that on the Beers photograph. Also, the camera / lens shown was used to take this photograph:

Linda, I would like to hear from you. I wrote to Elinor Sandborn and today, December 23, 2019, got a text message from somebody identifying himself as her son and saying that I had the wrong person. How sure are you of your identification of the mystery camerawoman? Do you know anything about her family? Does she have a son? Is his name Jim? You can text me at (928) 261 – 0280 or send e-mail. Or write me at 6580 East 32nd Street #101, Yuma, Arizona 85365,
